Performance Marketing Lead

Full Time - Remote

David Ellis, Founder & CEO

We're on the lookout for a talented Performance Marketer to join our B2B Growth Company. You'll play a key role in managing and running growth marketing campaigns on behalf of beetu.be and our growth partners (clients).

This is a full-time role. You'll be part of our close-knit team, reporting to our Head of Performance Marketing and collaborating with various team members, including the CEO, Creative Director, and wider teams.

We are looking for a “full-stack” marketer who has experience with various marketing channels and disciplines and is not shy to put their hand up and learn new things.

Jonty Stander, Head of Performance Marketing

Who This Is For:

  • You're a multi-skilled growth marketer with at least 2-5 years of working experience, looking to join a cutting-edge growth firm.

  • You want to join a team of A-players that cares about doing things well.

  • You are comfortable working in a startup environment where you will need to move quickly, be challenged, as well as be encouraged to think outside the box and try new things.

  • You are a self-starter and perform well in an environment where you are given the freedom to work on a flexible schedule.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • Ideally, you would be Google Ads Certified and Additional Certifications will be beneficial (Hubspot, Udemy, Facebook Blueprint etc.)

Who This Is Not For:

  • A marketer who is keen to stick to one discipline rather than gain broad experience.

  • Someone who needs a manager standing over your shoulder to manage their day-to-day work and tasks.

  • Someone looking for a clear career path. As a start-up, we can offer lots of rewarding opportunities as we grow, but it is not a clear ladder to climb as it might be in a larger, more established company. We can’t tell you where your role will be in 12-24 months, but we know it will be exciting and you’ll learn a lot!

We help SME B2B businesses build predictable inbound client acquisition machines.

beetu.be was founded by our CEO, David Ellis, in February 2023. We are a growth partner for B2B companies that are looking to scale and have a unique approach (we call “The beetu.be Growth Protocol”).

This is delivered to growth partners (how we refer to our clients) with a combination of pre-recorded content and training, consultancy and done-for-you services.

We are currently a team of 6 - and growing rapidly.

Excellence

We think excellence is important and we hire people that feel the same way. Put simply, we care about doing things well, whether they’re big - like a strategic project that took 3 months to deliver - or small, like a Slack message to a customer. To us, the details matter.

Asynchronous Working

We are a fully remote and asynchronous team, which means that meetings are the exception - not the norm. Working asynchronously means that team members do not need to be online or working at the same time to collaborate effectively. Instead of real-time communication, like in a traditional office setting or during a live meeting, asynchronous work allows individuals to contribute to projects and communicate on their own schedules.

Why we LOVE it

Work When & How You Want

Team members have the freedom to choose when they work. This flexibility accommodates different time zones, personal preferences and workstyles.

More Time For “Real” Work

Back-to-back Zoom meetings do not typically lead to a productive or fulfilling day of work. Removing many of the recurring and unnecessary meetings gives more time to perform deep, rewarding work. We believe this is one of the reasons we have been able to make so much progress in our business in such a short time.

Deliberate Communication Through Platforms

Rather than relying on an “always on” mentality of immediate responses in face-to-face interactions or instant messaging, deliberate communication happens through Slack and Trello.

Documentation

Information must be documented and shared digitally, making it accessible to team members regardless of when they log in. This helps in maintaining a record of discussions and decisions.

Whilst this flexibility is great, it goes both ways. We expect team members to be able to manage their schedules and priorities, and we have high standards when it comes to the quality of work produced.

Building In Public

We are building our business in public and sharing the numbers, lessons, highs and lows. We intend to be shockingly transparent.

This includes publicly sharing our numbers as well as the methods we are using to grow our business and the businesses of our partners, but also the lessons we are learning about running a progressive, remote-first company.

We are passionate about running a modern organisation that pushes the boundaries of what is deemed “normal” when it comes to work and would like to share these lessons with the world. Not to finger-point or tell people how they should do it but in the hope that we can add our voice to the conversation in a productive and positive way. Work is a big part of all of our lives and perhaps we can help to inspire some positive questions or conversations about how we go about work in our culture.
